Our school has a dedicated, open-air classroom separate from my family’s living space with it’s own bathroom and private entrance.
We begin our mornings here before heading out on a hike or to our backyard space.
We spend many mornings engaged in open-ended art explorations.
A family-style snack including fresh fruits and vegetables is available throughout the morning.
Mature trees provide a lovely, shady canopy.
Our mud kitchen is a favorite. This spot churns out countless pies, cakes, and soups each day!
The children are proud to help set up and fill our new sandbox.
Here, they reassemble the compost bin from our old location.
